i thought of you, while in the shower

and i thought of how nice it’d be

to have your things among my things

along the bathtub’s edge

and i imagined myself running out of soap

and using yours

and wearing you to work, and the grocery store

and i imagined that night, laying down beside you

and smelling your neck

and finding out where all my soap had gone

You found paradise in the Pacific Northwest. Somewhere between that mountain range and the stress stuffed in every corner of your brain. The mist blew across your face and you forgot every anxious thought you’ve ever had. All those lost opportunities and loves. All those days missed hiding in the comfort of your mind. You sat on the front porch of your consciousness and you could finally breathe.
I hope one day you’re as happy as you’re pretending to be. (via plantias)

A lot of people in my class really liked this image and I guess I do too… this feels so heavily referenced now that I look at it but it felt so spontaneous at the time? image, part of a series of experiments.
